It’s a valid concern, but I think we’ll cross that bridge when and if we come to it. I’m not sure why people are losing their minds about this. It’s kind of shameful how easily some people are trolled in this fandom. :/

Um, season 3 didn’t suck. Most people have been pretty happy with it.

It’s always been a commercial for plastic toys, but with Faust and her writing staff in control, at least the writing for the commercial was, not only high-quality, but the characters and stories were endearing to the audience and affected them on a highly emotional level. What scares me is that the toy department will insist on directing the series to be pure crap where the entire plot and direction of the series is to sell the toys only.

Derpygate already showed us Hasbro can’t be reasoned with. I’d rather FIM get canned than turned into one big commercial for plastic toys.

The only bit that’s true about this is that polite, constructive feedback is far more useful than boycotting the show.
 
Low ratings mean shows get canceled, period. And that’s TV for ya.

FiM episodes and storylines are being written based on the next up and coming toyline. The troll post from 4chan is based on the reality that Hasbro would rather run the series into the ground and pimp as many toys as possible than make a quality show as a long term investment.

Season 3 is not as good as 2…

I can confirm it’s true-because even some lies have an air of truth to them. It sounds too much like corporate meddling and what’s been happening to the show to be completely false.
