DM: So our session begins in the plains around Ponyville. You’re all taking a moment to finally breathe, rest, and maybe eat after escaping Discord’s influence. Spike burps out a letter from Princess Celestia.
Shining Armor: Hahaha, what??
Twilight Sparkle: Yeah, my familiar… does that.
DM: In the letter, Celestia laments the sacrifice of Ponyville and its residents for the time being, but thanks you for doing what you could.
Rainbow Dash: Ooooooooh, right…
Pinkie Pie: They’ll be fine!
DM: In the borrowed time you have, she wants to make sure the wedding of your brother Shining Armor and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza goes through.
Fluttershy: …Why?
Rarity: Perhaps as a demonstration of stability for the public?
DM: A multitude of reasons, it seems. But to get the specifics, you’ll probably have to ask her yourself.
Twilight Sparkle: Welp, I’m up for not worrying about Discord for a few days. Let’s spite chaos and have a normal, boring wedding.
Princess Cadance: Ahaha…!
