Yeah, that’d be awesome. Like when Superman fights Darkside for the last time in the Justice League cartoon and gives him a speech about how he lives in a cardboard world.
 
That’s exactly how I see Celestia and Luna until the show clearly shows their power level and if my headcanon changes, oh well.

I always imagined Celestia and Luna are like Superman. They have so much power, they don’t push themselves that often. I mean, Superman gets beat up all the time.
 
Also, if you actually watch that clip, you’ll see that Celestia isn’t struggling AT ALL and that Chrysalis is actually struggling A LOT until she gets a surprise power boost, which surprises BOTH OF THEM. (Look a Chyrsalis’ face in the aftermath.)

I don’t think that counts because Celestia was just using her natural, unenhanced power. While Crystalis was channeling the magical energy from Cadance’s and Shining’s love. (God I feel like a tool saying that last sentence.)

I don’t see this scenario happening as I’m pretty sure royal security would be better. I mean, how could a princess be imprisoned and impersonated so easily?
