“Shy, you can’t be serious.”
 
“Rainbow!” Rarity gasped, hushing her. They had just heard the news; Fluttershy was having a baby. Not Sunsets, but Nightmare Moon’s. Worst of all, Fluttershy had decided to keep the baby.
 
“I’m very serious, Rainbow.” Fluttershy muttered, gaze on the floor as Twilight and Applejack stayed close to give her comfort. “I’m not changing my mind.”
 
“But why?!” She asked, flabbergasted that her friends weren’t reacting the same way as her. “She kidnapped you and tried to force you to marry her! She got rid of our Queens! We have no idea where Discord is at! Even now, you’re carrying her child!” She yelled at the yellow mare. “We’ve been to your therapy sessions, Shy! We know how hard that ordeal was to you! Why are you making this worse?”
 
Twilight cut in with “Rainbow, please, let’s all calm down-“
 
“You and Cadence are the reason she’s here in the first place!” Dash yelled, fuming, “what if we lost you too? Why am I the only one who’s reacting right?”
 
“I…I don’t know what would’ve happened.” Twilight admitted. “But this isn’t about me. It’s about Fluttershy, Rainbow. We have to be supportive.”
 
“What if Nightmare Moon suddenly comes back?” Rainbow said. “This baby, this isn’t a good idea. What if this baby is her reincarnated?”
 
“Exactly.” Fluttershy said. “What if it is Nightmare? What if I can raise this child into being good, whether it’s her or not? This baby is still my blood.”
 
“I know Shy.” Rainbow said, gently this time. “I just-I’m really worried about you. I don’t want this to stress you out more than you have been the past few months.”
 
“And I appreciate that. I appreciate all of you girls’ help!” She smiled gratefully to each one. “And I know I have a choice in not going through with this pregnancy, but I feel something deep in my heart that I…I have too. Regardless of who the other parent is, Sunset and I will be ready for anything.”
 
“And of course, you still got us to watch after the lil youngin’ “ AJ said with a little nudge.
 
“Really?” Fluttershy asked, not expecting the response.
 
“Of course!” Said Pinkie, who had been in the corner planning the baby shower through the entire conversation, and she huddled next to Rarity, “I just hope they like sweets!!”
 
“I’m sure they will, Pinkie.” Twilight laughed.
 
“And you know me and Sunburst will help anyway we can.” Rarity said, “after all; this is my niece or nephew!”
 
Fluttershy giggled a little. Rainbow still looked doubtful. “I still don’t think this is a good idea. Are you sure Sunset is okay with this? She’s pregnant too.”
 
“She said she was. I made sure.” Fluttershy said confidently, only Rainbow noticing how Rarity glanced away. “I promise, Rainbow. Everything’s going to be okay now!”
 
Rainbow sighed. “Yeah, okay, if you say so. If you want to really do this, then…I’m in.”
