I make no secret that I’m a model railway person outside of art. Always wanted to have a go at one of those Gn15 gauge ‘Katie’ models by Smallbrook Studios though…
As a person enjoying model kits myself, I strongly recommend NOT putting the water jar for cleaning your brushes even remotely near your tea cup, as the inevitable (dipping the brush in your tea or taking a swig from the water jar) is bound to happen.
Why don’t you do more of this? Indulging your love of ponies with your love of model railroading and railways in genral? I know quite a few out there would love to see more of that, and you had a few pieces done a long time ago but honestly there should be more!
It’s certainly on the ‘to do’ list. Working out that the blindbag pony figures scale quite nicely with the Smallbrook Gn15 encourages me a bit more. Watch this space…

Gn15 is a great scale btw, my heart loves HOn30 for the compactness of everything. On30 is a nice compromise with a lot of great ready-to-run models straight from Bachmann which makes it very appealing. I really want to love Nn3 more but it is so fiddly and expensive I wouldn’t even bother. All around, narrow gauge model railroading is amazing.
How is horse!Bob doing that without thinning his paints and using a palette? What manner of witchery is this? Can’t be his special talent, that’s having a singularity where most ponies have a bladder.
The quarantine is a good time for painting mini figurines I’ve found.
Alas, no longer in lockdown myself. Been back at work a good two weeks now.
Even so, model railway supplies ran out pretty quick at the start of lockdown. There are people out there now hoarding 00 gauge track and hiking the prices! XD
Eh, that’s a long and glorious tradition. It can backfire, which explains a lot of 40kers.
Mostly of you’re doing repaint
Edited
Yep that what we do
That you call your own railroad

It’s been tough getting citadel paints for my Warhammer figurines, but I’ve made due.

Big Smoke:All we had to do was to follow the damn train Kettle
Are you doing this on purpose now?
