This made me laugh. The comparison certainly would be off a couple years ago when most everything IDW spun out was gold laced with platinum…

When you think about, we don’t love the show itself, we love the characters and the world they live in, the show is just 20 minutes of flash animation used to represent it. If there is another official medium that is able to not only portray the characters we love in the way faithful to their original show personalities, but even put them in situation the show will never be allowed to, I don’t see anything wrong with preferring the comic series.

Yeah, but I just don’t think the show would be nearly as verbose or even devote as much time to adventuring as the comic does.
 
IDW’s fooling themselves if they really think little girls would be interested in the comic.
