The problem is, if we don’t send them a clear message this can and will stifle future fan creativity, and it hurts not just the fans but Hasbro itself. Free unaffiliated promotion for their franchise is and never will be a bad thing.
 
It’s just a knee-jerk reaction on their part, but they have to take it back or everyone will be scared to make cool stuff.

I also ask why the hell Hasbro did not propose a licence instead of bitching. I’d buy the game. I would not be alone in buying it. And Hasbro would make money.

If I remember correctly, Seth Killian, before he left Capcom said that usually it takes about 10k signatures to get someone from a company to officially look at a petition. If we can at least get Hasbro’s attention we’ll be doing good.

Beats me. Mane6 originally asked them if it’s OK and they kinda let them be.
 
My theory is that they thought that volunteer project won’t go far at all and the team will fall apart even before the game is done. Now that FiiM is so dangerously close to completion, they decided that noone should gain piggyback publicity on their brand.

How is it incorrect of Hasbro send a C&D to Mane6 over FightIM? MLP IS Hasbro’s IP, after all, they can shut down whatever they want related to their IP and there really isn’t anything we can do about it, as sad as it may be.
