THE PRINCESS AND HER KNIGHT
The Princess of the Crystal Empire presents a gift for her favorite Royal Guard.
Artist’s Note: On June 21st, 2020, I uploaded an earlier version of this artwork to commemorate Father’s Day for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Unfortunately, many viewers misinterpreted the artwork as having the unfortunate implication of Flurry Heart secretly being the biological daughter of Flash Sentry through an adulterous affair with Princess Cadance.
THAT WAS NOT MY INTENT!
The original artwork is actually meant to illustrate my headcanon that Flurry Heart and Flash Sentry share a close bond of friendship between them as honorary niece and uncle. I imagine that once Flurry Heart grows up to succeed her parents as ruler of the Crystal Empire, Flash Sentry would remain by her side as her faithful Captain of the Royal Guards.
My apologies for the confusion.

This is adorable. I saw the earlier version and kinda noped out because I thought you meant for Flurry to be Flash’s daughter, but now I see that wasn’t your intent. It is a very cute idea, and I love the way you draw them. I’ll give your artist tag a watch and check out what you do from here, keep up the good work!
