Here’s my first of royal line up, starting with Cadance. The sword above her isn’t an ordinary sword, it’s what I call a Mana-Crystal Sword. Forged in between the standard steel is the Mana Crystals that give the sword it’s name. These crystals are able to channel, absorb, and project the magic and spells of the wielder.
 
These weapons require constant unicorn or alicorn magic to be able to be wielded. So only unicorns or alicorns can use these swords, but not all are equal. There is so many Mana Crystals incorporated in these swords that unicorns like Shining Armor or Twilight Sparkle (when she was a unicorn) only met the minimum required magic power level and they can only perform basic spells as a significant amount of their magic is required to use the sword.
 
It’s only when you get to the magical strength of the highest level unicorns like Starswirl or Starlight Glimmer or any alicorn that these weapons can reach their full potential. I’ll highlight more in the next edition.
