The tech level of MLP varied with each generation/show:  
>My Little Pony & Friends - set in a medieval fantasy world, almost no tech  
>My Little Pony Tails - set in 80s suburbia, 80s tech  
>My Little Pony (Gen 3) - Set in an even goofier fantasy world, small amounts of random tech  
>My Little Pony (Gen3.5) - Set in and even still goofier fantasy world, even more random tech  
>My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Set in a quasi-medieval steampunk world, roughly 19th Century tech.  
>My Little Pony: Pony Life - Set in a bad acid trip, insane 21st Century tech.

FiM Fluttershy would never had courage and assertiveness to look up her love interests sexy pictures. It would be something more romantic like her looking up at the flower given to her by Discord or something like that.

FIM, and previous gens are also guilty of having the ponies use tools, items, devices with their hooves too. So it’s really nothing new.

Well to be fair, ponies having any sort or tool or device that requires finer motor skills like fingers and thumbs n’ shit, is pretty “not right”, however due to our suspension of disbelief in this odd fantasy/modern society universe, our definition of “not right is reasonably stretched enough to allow it I’d say.
 
It wouldn’t feel at home in the show as they spend most of their time away from any sort of further developed cities and places of technology. However as this is somewhat of a parody show, it takes the liberty to go beyond the rural expectations that we have on account of how we see their world.
 
In conclusion.  
Yeah it’s kinda weird, but to be fair their level of technology is really vaguely explored. Since they apparently have functional DJ setups, with modern speakers and tuners and such. So them having tablets, while unlikely isn’t outside the realm of plausible occurrences.  
Weird, but not necessarily “not right” I’d say.
