Since the title of “Don’t Look a GIF Horse in the Mouth” is a reference to “don’t look a gift horse in the mouth”, I assume that GIF is not pronounced as “jif”. Just like gift doesn’t.
 
I disagree that the name of the episode makes no sense only due to pronunciation, if that was what you meant.  
It’s “GIF” or “JIF”, why does it matter?

Sadly, thanks to DA. and such we can’t have one inflation gag, or anything in cartoons without people flipping out that it’s “fetish fuel.” (I remember people getting angry that time Spike inflated Applejack in MLP:FIM.)
 
If cartoons stopped doing everything because it might be somebody’s “fetish,” then they wouldn’t be allowed to do anything.
 
Heck, I remember seeing a fanartist whom drew almost nothing, but sneezing ponies once, so apparently even that’s a fetish/obsession too. I’ve seen fanartists fixate on other things like characters scuba-diving, or drowning, characters disguising themselves as other characters, or being hypnotized by Kaa from “The Jungle Book.” So honestly there’s stranger then this.  
(Nothing against anybody into that stuff BTW.)

As you can see she is able to fly without wings. Wings are sooo last generation.

It’s the wrinkles under her eyes and the sore red cheeks that make this look more uncomfortable.
