god I really hope we’re not reaching the end of these comics though

I don’t know if this was what Silver Quill intended and I’m just looking too deep into this, but I like how Starlight’s speech about how change can be painful could be related to the transition from Friendship is Magic to Pony Life or G4 to G5.
 
While there were some fans of MLP pre-G4, FiM was what took off for everyone, where we followed the show for nine seasons, watched the Mane Six develop, cheered for them when they overcame a challenge and seeing just how the magic of friendship grew. We followed them for nine years, but now that G4 is over, it’s still hard to get used to for some bronies. And with the drastic change from FiM to something as wacky and comedic driven like Pony Life or the idea of G5 introducing a new story and potentially introducing new characters, changes like these is a scary thought for those in the fandom, to the point that some would leave the fandom because it wouldn’t feature the Mane Six that we’ve followed in G4.
 
But just like what Starlight said, I feel like Silver Quill is trying to say is that you don’t have to fear change. Yes, FiM is over, yeah the Mane Six are in Pony Life but with drastic character changes, and G5 is currently sort of a mystery. While we will miss the G4 and the Mane Six, as long as we still carry on the friendship lessons that the show and the characters have taught us for nine years, they’re never truly gone.
 
Like I said, I don’t know if that’s what Silver Quill was intending, or I’m just overthinking what Starlight wrote in her diary.
