The Pony Life end credits credits Rebecca for doing Twilight’s singing vocals, although I’m not sure if that’s just for the theme song or not.
Agreed. I only hope that if we get more episodes, the real series finale will be as nice as this episode.
Me too! Mainly because I want more musical numbers in Pony Life and there are many recurring characters that didn’t appear.
Rebecca sounded a bit different from usual (and the United Kingdom probably airs Pony Life in the PAL format, which explains why Applejack and Rainbow also sounded different despite still being voiced by Ashleigh), I didn’t even recognize her voice! And yeah, the off-keyness is pretty justifiable.
Rebecca Shoichet sang as Twilight (probably not counting the rapping, which was probably done by Tara Strong). The off-key intro is meant to represent their initial panic, because they were basically asked to sing on the stage without prior notice.
