Petra

I’m still continuing my line of using mythology for characters. If Chíren was the stories of faeries and stolen children, then Petra is the spirits of the forests, of whom you should ask permission before hunting or cutting down trees. Some were described to be humanoid, with deer-like characteristics such as cloves or antlers.

These are early drawings of the character, and may change quite a bit once I develop it more. Though I found Petra to be easier to draw than Chíren, even now.

It’s funny how people will comment on show accuracy if your changeling doesn’t confirm to the canon blue-and-grey design. It (along with the doubts I had from before about Chíren’s looks) has bothered me a bit. And then I got some outside inspiration to try something completely different.

Though now I’m worried about having people telling me I “stole the idea” or similar… There’s no pleasing some.
