oh dear. here we go again with that otp.
anyway

1. Sombra was nervous as F U C K when he first started carrying. naturally, he’d never carried a baby before. he wasn’t sure how his species even bred or gave birth, what the baby would look like once it was born, or how the public would react to it (since they kept it relatively secret from anyone but the other royals). but Sunburst was fuckin pumped!! hell yeah, we’re gonna have a real family now!! this is epic. he spent a lot of time reassuring his husband so he didn’t freak out. Sombra was never sure about it the first time, but he did enjoy the extra snuggling.
   P.S. in case you were wondering, Sunburst is the sire and Sombra is the dam. usually, though, their citizens and children refer to Sombra as the sire (since he is the king, and Sunburst is only a Prince Consort).
2. next up, on the right, a little Sunstar foal. she was a real pretty young lass, who braided her mane and her tail all the time before she cut them. she was nervous and small, but she grew up a perfect little heir to the throne. her papas couldn’t have been more proud. she grew up totally attached to her parents. even as she got older, she always said she wasn’t sure how she would live without them. as she grew older, she grew a lot more confident. you’d almost never find her in a pose like this anymore.
3. bottom left, we have a young Sunstar, probably six or seven, maybe eight, holding her little baby brother. she was among the first to see him, and totally fell for him head over hooves. even as he grew older and more brash, she still loves him, and would die for him. he would too, though he has a funny way of showing it.
4. and finally, two best (and kinda toxic) friends. Prince Broken Heart is kinda stupid. he usually acts before he thinks, and his anger issues don’t help. it takes a lot of work to keep him in check. his friend, Prince Kairos, however, makes it look easy. despite being a descendant of the Chaos King Discord, he is a very calm, intelligent, and thoughtful fellow. his stern demeanor often kept Broken Heart at bay. Kairos isn’t particularly fond of Brooke, not as much as Brooke is of him, but he does wish the best for him, and is therefore completely non-hesitant when it comes to putting him in his damn place, whether that be vocally or physically. The crystal prince won’t say it aloud, but he is afraid of Kairos, and follows his orders to the letter (as much as he hates it).
