Yeah I agree with you there. The image of Godzilla Junior full grown and alive always sends a chill down my spine.
And most other iron-age fiction characters, if we’re honest.
Jr still wasn’t in the movie. it was a rebooted Minilla
The original script of Godzilla Final Wars had Junior as the Godzilla in that movie. Also, it showed Junior grown up while Godzilla was in ice. That’s my thoughts anyway.

Final wars , like the rest of the Millennium series, is supposed to be a direct sequel to the first film
Well, I consider Godzilla Final Wars to be set after the events of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. But still, the point is, Godzilla Junior died at the hands of Destoroyah and then was revived even more powerful than he could ever imagine.
