Well, she may have said she was sad about leaving the show, but you’d be taking it out of context if that’s what you mean.
Lauren never indicated that she was sad. If there’s any assumptions we can make about her state of mind, it’s that she’d be annoyed at people always making assumptions about her state of mind.
I think it has to do entirely with her not being able to work on the show, and not necessarily where the show is going. I just hear her say how much she really misses working on the show.
I know she doesn’t want to undermine the current production team. Part of me would really love to know what she envisioned. Part of me wouldn’t.
Do want?! DO WANT!!!
Possibly, but then, we don’t know, do we? For all we know, the original plan was for Celestia, when the time came, to give her wings to Twilight. Or, for that matter, the desire to have only two alicorns may have only been an initial stipulation regarding Cadence, in order to make Twilight’s ascention all the more magnificent.
In the end, the original plan IS still being followed, just with one big detail altered: princesses now all have wings. We either deal with it, or we don’t. It’s as simple as that.
This is probably closer to what she imagined.
I dunno, the silly face is what made me click on it in the first place.
Twilight may have become an alicorn, but she didn’t become Celestia’s successor. Since the series isn’t over, maybe they’ll still use the idea, but the track record of use of the good ideas Faust had isn’t very encouraging.
