Rainbow Dash, with some augmentations to replace that which has been lost or damaged in combat. Loosely based on that one Dash from the alternate timeline. Metal wings are badass. I spent some time Googling the structure of feathered wings – I’ve never drawn a folded wing before with a clear physical understanding of what’s goin on there. I’ve always just (heh) winged it. And yet, this is pretty much how I would have drawn it anyway. I guess I’ve just been basing my wings off of wings drawn by people who know how wings work. Crazy.
 
It’s nice to be sketching again. I’ve taken most of the year off to be cripplingly depressed and agoraphobic. I don’t know why it got so bad, aside from the general vibe of 2020, but now it’s easing up and I don’t know why about that, either. I don’t understand my issues, I just outlast them.
