The whole ‘no edits’ entitlement bullshit is idiotic and hypocritical. You do not have any right to stop people from doing whatever the fuck they want with your art. Not only is it their right, but it’s the same legal right that keeps you from getting nuked as a fan artist. You put something out into the world, you give the world permission to do whatever the fuck they want with it as far as transformative work goes. Because you literally cannot stop them from doing it. You literally cannot police what people do on their own PC with the art that YOU allowed them to have. And to reiterate, this is all doubly hypocritical from someone who draws porn of a kids’ show.

You’re not selling it. Editor isn’t selling it or taking something from a paid pack or pretending they made it or anything like that. I’ve made plenty of content and would be thrilled if people wanted to tweak it. This was a fairly common mode of art distribution for thousands of years. You don’t see a copyright symbol on cave paintings do you? You think The Odyssey was made by one guy?
 
Editor did make a jerk move by calling theirs “Adorable version”, as if yours wasn’t.
 
Finally, it’s pretty hypocritical to go nuclear on this editor when your style is CLEARLY influenced by MLP gen 4. Or maybe you came up with cute horses, big eyes, and cutie marks all on your own?

Man, wtf are you going on about? You should always assume that unless an artist has given explicit approval, you shouldn’t edit their work. And besides, you literally said that you allowed people to edit your work. I doubt you’d feel too great if you didn’t allow it and someone went along and did it anyway.
 
If you felt Jeday needed a suggestion to better his work, you could’ve just commented. I.E.: “The muzzle here is a little too square; I feel it would look better if it were more rounded.” That’s obviously your personal preference, but that’s the way to go about it. You don’t just change something that’s not your work because YOU want it to be different. That’s hella disrespectful.

Dude, you ruined my colors and completely destroyed my muzzle and eye style. Even without my permission. Why should I be thankful? I am sorry, but this is completely unacceptable. Tomorrow I will have to put my name in do not post list because of you. My fault, I just thought It’s absolutely understandable that you can’t edit arts without a permission, this is how it works in a modern civilized world.

So it isn’t under GPL? I used to allow my works to edit and to allow everyone to benefit from it, as I could from others to benefit, it was good and to let to learn each other, but here, everyone behaves so bad about it, instead of having fun and cooperate in these difficult times.
 
I did not publicate his work as a picture, just showed him a suggestion. Talents we have and abilities God gave us are not belonging to any of us, but it is thanks to him we can draw and are able to make other works.
 
Anyway, no one of us never downloaded for example a song from Youtube or uploaded someone other’s music without asking a singer? I doubt no one did.

Yeah, because either those editors get permission from the artist first, or the artist has established that they don’t care. It’s really damn uncool to change an artist’s work without their knowledge or approval.

Why the anger, eat snickers. Tons of people here do edits and is fine.
