Normally, I do. But after a week of bad sleep from an ear infection, my patience is thin. I am fine with criticism, when it is actually constructive. That, however, was not. It was unnecessarily blunt, nor did they offer a solution.
 
Would you not be frustrated at that point, after you’ve slaved away for hours, to get that as the first response, especially while ill? Now, had it been something like 1:1 on good and bad, it would be much easier to swallow as a more complete criticism, that takes both positive and negative into consideration.
 
Now granted, I usually shy away from commenting because I do not much care to argue, but this one just was the one too much in an already shitty week.

If that’s how you’re going to respond to people pointing out errors that you can use to improve your art, then maybe it would be better if you stopped now, because it seems like you don’t have a thick enough skin for it.

I don’t know, this lineart alone was 2 days of hard work, to get “insignificant detail is wrong” as the first comment? Feels like I’ve wasted my efforts and my talent, if that is the only thing in this that catches the eye.

Ah. So it seems. It clearly cannot be because Stable-Tec was prone to errors in their Stable builds, or that the cog is further away from the frame than a centimetre.
 
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I love how that is apparently the only thing worth noticing in this piece. Thank you, for pointing that out for me so I can delete this piece and stop drawing.
