Honestly, not only does the “weed” label seem kinda arbitrary, but I’m even beginning to think the rationale behind it is dangerous. I mean, seriously, so much of modern agri/horticulture is ass-backwards. We force stuff to grow where it doesn’t belong just for the sake of having it (the best example of this being the lawn), we pollute soil that’s already exhausted with artificial fertilizers to ultimately grow food with compromised quality and nutritional value, we’re practically obsessed with mono-culture (you know, as in literally by definition the exact opposite of biodiversity) and that’s just the tip of the ice burg.

Who says dandelions are bad? Sure, they are a weed, but they are the hardiest flower in the world. Able to grow even through cement. Through cracks in the pavement. And they are so versatile! You can use them to make salad, tea, wine, and even vegan honey. Dandelion is best flower.
