its just that its hard for me to think of what o draw. and when i cant think of anything, i suck ass. tbh i feel like im just a dumb ass who cant even draw

There’s a big difference between “inspiration” and “tracing”. Nobody will flaunt you for using the latter if you’re a beginner artist, and nobody will do so for the former even if you’re a pro.
 
But as SSAE said: Giving credits where they are due is good karma. If other people use the same base and don’t give credits for it, then be different. Stand out.
 
Besides… Isn’t that the point of being an artist? Standing out and not doing the same as everyone else?

I can’t pretend to tell anyone how to draw. But if you desire to be respected in the long run, then a bit more transparency and respect about applying others’ bases would help you in the long run.

Nobody said anything about “asses.” Don’t trace other people’s art and claim it as your own.

Not exactly an “insane improvement” in art when you use someone else’s base and don’t rightfully state it.

i only used the base for it. and besides, there was alot of people who used that base for their oc’s.
