Not all relationships are romantic or based on just friendship, there are very many couples around the world who stay together throughout life in a relationship without engaging in strong romantic feelings or a need to be physically involved with each other. Some of these last a lifetime, much suggests it is this type of relationship Fluttershy and Discord had unknowingly slipped into. Discord is very fond of her, and has come to regard her as an important person in his life while Fluttershy felt safe and secure with him one had come to regard as something permanent in her life.

Because the image has been removed. But anyone who has seen it could see how Fluttershy and Discord behaved towards each other, and it was very clear to everyone that they have become more than friends, they have come to appreciate each other and unknowingly formed a relationship that when she looks strictly at Discord who looked cowed. Everyone can see it, and it will happen when the issue comes out.
 
There are a lot of relationships out there where they only get together because they have been happy with each other, and now Fluttershy and Discord have entered into such a relationship. This is not marriage. Not an intimate relationship. But it’s more than friendship. And very appropriate for the two beings as different as them. Signs of this were seen in “Last Problem”, when Discord appeared for the last time, all the time next to Fluttershy.

True. That’s exactly what we want from season 10, character development around several important characters like Pinkie Pie. Here Pencils has surpassed itself, on the one hand we have seen the first sign of the upcoming Twilight Sparkle from “Last Problem”, “Queen” Twilight 2.0 - on the other hand we saw that Fluttershy and Discord without knowing it have entered a relationship more like a strict wife and a cowed husband - and finally we see how Pinkie realized that she had fallen for Cheese, so they can begin a new adventure. Which will end with them forming a pair sooner or later.
 
IT’s the Season 10, not what Whitley had presented to readers so far - Pencils and the writer (who?) Have given us a masterpiece, thus giving hope for the continuation of G4 in the comics.
