It may not be 100% faithful to the dialects being spoken, but at least we get what’s going on now so thank you.

This is probably going to just require a full-on rewrite into Applejack-isms.

For those of you wondering why I haven’t cranked out an English version of this yet, it’s because I’m not really sure how to render it properly in English. For those who are interested, here’s a fairly neutral translation:

Well that is how mafia accents work.

In a tweet further down the thread from this image, Uotapo says “主に東北～北海道の方言ですが、北関東・甲信越も混じっているようです” (“It is mainly a dialect from Tohoku to Hokkaido, but it seems that northern Kanto and Koshinetsu are also mixed.”)

You’re speaking so much countryisms, that even the translators can’t even understand what you’re saying!

Well, she already taught herself one accent. It makes sense that she’d pick up another with enough exposure.

I know only four of them (though I’m not sure if all of them are correct). The other two I still don’t know:  
ラリティ： アップルジャック、テープねつぱつてる。かつちゃいたらダメ！ちゃんとうるかして！  
(Rarity: Applejack, tape nets. Don’t do it! Get it right!)
 
アップルジャック： どうひでなんかいづいと思った。  
(Applejack: I thought it was a big deal)
 
レインボーダッシュ： たごま。。。なに？  
(Rainbow Dash: Sesame seeds… What?)

As far as I get it, Rarity is playing fashion police.

To add to that, a Japanese word for dialect is “namari”, while the comic title is pronounced “namararity”. It was all a pun.

I’m too crap with dialects to do a proper translation anytime soon, but the gist of it is that Rarity has been hanging around Applejack so often that she’s started unconsciously imitating her “rural” speech mannerisms.
