It’s partly the horns/antlers/whatever and partly the many mismatched colors. But it’s mostly the fact that he was so cute as a regular changeling (as well as in his “Crystal Hoof” disguise), and I was looking forward to having him around, but then he became an ugly color-vomit abomination that looks like it was designed by a 4-year-old with minimal creative oversight.
It’s really not a big deal, but it’s still disappointing to think about what could’ve been.
Why? Is it the horns?

It’s mostly just King Thorax that I actually dislike. Most I don’t like, but don’t really mind either, and there are a few that I do like, but I still much prefer the old-style changelings.
I like the new ones too but I simply favor the old ones more many times.

That’s fine. I just get upset when I see the backlash against the new Changelings are the popular opinion.

That’s almost exactly why I don’t like them as much.
Yeah, like, Ocellus is pretty good, as well as a few others (who I can’t name off the top of my head). But most of the new changelings (or “changedlings”) have garish color palettes that I don’t like looking at. Plus, “King” Thorax is (IMO) overdesigned and outright ugly, on top of him having an even more garish color palette than most of his kin.
