and if you look in the background you’ll see figures of the mane 6 on her dresser, and over her bed is a banner of celestia’s cutie mark

She has pins on her bag-handle that have Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash’s cutie marks. So apparently there’s some tie-in between G4 and G5; the Mane Six’s cutie marks have been remembered.
