You know when a good friend who’s had the same hairstyle for years decides to suddenly change it to something entirely different and you’re simply unsure how to process it?
 
Wanted to draw something silly of these two for a while, always enjoyed their dynamic. Best friends/rivals who simultaneously push each other to be their best and annoy the hell out of each other. Can picture them almost being like bickering sisters when they get up in years.
 
I’m really not content with my shading and lighting atm. Trying a method different from my most recent attempts, it looks a little better, but still looks sloppy in places. Also want to look more into how I do my hair; I feel like it’s missing something, could use a little more detail or something. Too flat for my liking, especially in regards to the shading, or lack thereof, rather.
