I tried my best with the child’s eyes but if I draw him again they’ll be better
 
so here is the swamp pony king, queen and child here are their names
 
the swamp ponies call themselves poneys des Marais or marsh ponies (i just wanted this so it can sound more fleshed out and have a more fleshed out name but they tell others to call them swamp ponies)
 
 
Montgomery bulrush: he is the leader of the swamp ponies, he’s maybe around 50 years old or more, the scales above and under his eye appear when swamp ponies age same with the females.

kind, cooperative, hard-working, strict, energetic
 
likes: his family, his kind as well as others, meat, sports, going around town both to see how everyone is and to have fun
 
dislikes: hunters, slackers, sitting around and doing nothing, losing a prey animal
 
 
“Maybelle “marigold” bulrush (the marigold is her last name before marriage)
 
She’s the king’s wife and queen of the swamp ponies, she’s around the same age or younger
 
 
personality: loving, wise, motherly, shy (but will be doing things if she needs to), creative when it comes to problem-solving
 
likes: girly things, helping others, gardens, cooking
 
dislikes: weeds, traps, hunters, others getting hurt, fighting
 
 
Albert bulrush: the next in line to the “throne” in a way of saying
 
he is the king’s and queen’s son who is around his teen years but taller than the average male teen pony
 
likes: playing games, having fun with friends, learning, being strong like his dad
 
dislikes vegetables (but he has too and likes some veggies but not all), feeling weak, boring work, failing
 
 
females would have spots but I forgot so I just leave it like this to show differences between males and females, females have long “hair spines” (i guess I forgot to put them in other arts) but these spines on both males and females help in body temperature
 
 
this can help in being more clear in what the leaders look like, swamp ponies don’t usually wear clothes but they do end up wearing clothes because they want to, and they look nice too so I’ll draw clothes someday but they are loose for females or bathing suit material for males so they can swim, but at home, they don’t have too. but if this were human they will wear clothes all the time.
