The retcon was made public shortly after the Tumblr Porn Ban (which was mid-December 2017), so it was probably late December or sometime in January.
But the retcon doesn’t really change anything about the images and Mars rarely brings it up. So if you want to say that she’s actually being raped, then go right ahead.
