G5 isn’t a sequel to G4, so don’t hold your breath.
 
Much like the G4 characters are transformations of but not the same people as the major G1 characters (Twilight, Sparkler, Applejack, Surprise, Posey, and Firefly), the heroes in G5 are transformations of but not the same people as the major G4 characters. The big difference is this time they’re just a cameo and not at all important to the setting.
 
Don’t bother asking me for a source, because quite frankly I eagerly await the meltdown when bronies finally accept this, and so have no dire need to provide one.

I’ll bet anyone here cold hard cash that the mean three don’t appear in season 10 other than cameos, flashbacks or illusions.

Golly…season 10 is still going and everyone is Fantassysing about mean three in g5 😂 would be a nice explanation for the magic vanishing…but still. Wait for the comic’s solution.

Well i’m doubtful if she ever will return in g5, maybe some characters with reference to her. If she ever could return, then maybe in comic series.

Fans working on the movie confirmed that pretty much no one else had watched G4 : G5’s staff probably doesn’t even know who the hell Cozy/Tirek/Chrysalis are, nor would understand why S9’s finale was such a slap in the face of the series’ spirit.

As I understand it, the fate of the Mean 3 was intentionally left ambiguous in The Last Problem. If they are freed in G5, that would certainly put an end to that. To be honest, I kind of like having to decide for ourselves what thier ultimate fate was.

In all seriousness, I wouldn’t be surprised if none of the three return at all.

An angel like Cozy Glow? Never. She is so sweet and innocent.

Yes, bring her back so that she may finally get the second chance that she deserves and reforms. That would be the best possible thing they could do with her.

You guys need to get over it at some point.
