@Ereiam
Oh that is true, but from the comments (and dislikes, maybe?) it seems like this feeling occurs with considerable frequency… My drawings and animations are my only income source so any kind of feedback - especially negative ones! - are very very important!
I’m aware I will absolutely never be able to please all, since we’re all different; I mean, not even chocolate makes everyone happy, so how could I? xD But in cases like this I feel like it is a positive change “overall”, and even though some people can be a little harsh with their wording sometimes, I try my best to learn from it! ^^
Thank you all for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
@BrightRoom
Draw them however you like them: you can’t please everybody after all, so make sure you’re at least one of those who are.
I also want to add that I too do personally find eyes like those very cute and my above comments were meant to be tongue-in-cheek (although I might have failed to convey that properly; blame Poe’s law for that ^^’)
I personally find eyes like this really really cute and that’s why I usually draw them like this, but I do understand it doesn’t feel the same for everyone! I’ll try to avoid drawing them as big next times >_< I’m sorry!
@coolrainbow
Her eyes have a much higher sclera/pupil ratio in this one: they don’t look like a pair of bottomless abysses in which can be glimpsed the fires of damnation (might be exaggerating just a teensy bit here).
@Ereiam
Is this the main reason why this was tagged creepy, because of her cuteness?
But how about that image for example: >>979849p (merged)
Is that creepy too?
@coolrainbow
Hmmm I see… I’ll try different styles in future projects then, thank you!
Because I’m a silly pony and forgot to resize the canvas before generating the final png and posting here… I had to use a very small brush, but it shouldn’t matter if I remembered to resize… I never click pictures here unless I’m trying to read something so I didn’t notice, oop! Thanks for telling me >_<

She’s staring into your soul, that’s why you find it unsettling.

Well, perhaps the eyes are drawn too realistically?
Also, why is the pacifier a bit pixelated?
I’m sorry you feel that way… Wasn’t my intention to make it creepy =( What gives you that sensation?
