A quick AU idea. Bad end where some big bad takes out the princesses and other elements(and maybe pillars?), and in a last desperate shot of magic Twily wins, but their overwhelming surge breaks her horn and she ends up with a scar in the shape of her cutie mark. But between her earth pony magic, pegasus magic and the physical elements she remains the strongest magic creature in Equestria. With the Equestria no longer a diarchy (both Luna and Celestia were both “princess” because they were joint rulers, neither held a higher title than the other) and has one absolute rule, she takes the mantle of “queen.” I changed her crown from gold to silver to indicate a change, and also to remove the warmth from the jewelry. I also reverted the elements to how you see them in the intro to the first episode because their bearers are gone and they just look better that way.
