The sequels completely missed the fact that the first movie was mocking the original book. And 3 traded the ridiculous pro-fascist overtones of the book for ridiculous pro-religious overtones. Though I do like the fact that they finally included the power armor.

what pissed me off was that they took that movie which was awesome as a first and Last of its kind and turned it into 2 more Pure shit movies, the 2nd was nothing but an oddly put together smut film filled with sexual undertones and no known actors that I know of and the third had promise but somewhere between the shitty graphics and overly religiose ending it just fell apart, it should have just been one film

Considering the movie was a parody of the book directed by a man who lived under an actual fascist government at one point in his life, you’d be hard-pressed to find anybody who likes both the book and the movie.
