Well, to be fair she does have a time-travel spell. But all it does is create a stable timeloop.
If bad ideas let off a stench, the 3rd idea would smell like a planet of dirty baby diapers.
At least it’s edgier than most books’ happy ending.
The plot was well done but the ending was just too predictable.
