When all the magic disappeared, the wendigo likely got poofed out of existence along with it. Once the magic returned, who knows what effect it will have or what (or who) will return?

Well Zeyphr Heights seems to be built on top of what was once Canterlot, lines up pretty perfectly on the two Gen maps and you have the abandoned buildings with the Wonderbolts poster and stuff the others who know. I assume Cloudsdale just kinda.. poofed out of existence once Magic was gone.
