Good catch! While not everything has changed from rounded to rectangular there is enough for it to be a noticeable and thematic change. I think that’s a pretty clever way of showing the transition from childhood to adulthood on a kinda basic way.

Probably around the time she was she insisted “I’m a big mare now. I don’t sleep in a horseshoe bed.” ignoring the fact it’s a big bed, and she is always going to be a little average sized pony.
