If they were more heavily edited instead of mostly just being redubbed scenes it would probably be much easier to get them un-hobbled via fair use.

They weren’t removed, they just got hobbled by ContentID because Hasbro now has an official channel on YouTube where you can watch the episodes (for a price). This means that anything that makes extensive use of footage from the show is likely to get detected and blocked in territories where they sell the show on YouTube (just the US, to my knowledge). Elsewhere, the FiW episodes are still viewable.
As far as I understand it, they could go through the rigmarole of filing a fair use declaration or something that will return access to the episodes everywhere, but I guess it’s easier to cut that particular knot and just host the episodes on alternative sites too.
oh so they did get yanked, thats why I cant find em. wonder how though, FIW is a Pardoy, and work unto itself. They should have no legal.. whateter to pull it.
