Favourite is definitely Adagio (I just love her manipulative charisma)…followed by the Storm King (He’s just so funny) and Cozy Glow (I have a soft spot for characters who can be cute and disturbing at the same time)

Most evil: probably King Sombra given that the first thing we ever heard about him was that he had a ‘heart as black as night’, not to mention how friendship magic completely obliterates him rather than depowering or turning him to stone, as if it senses that there isn’t even the slightest hope for him to be redeemed. (Though the now non-canon comics did give him some sympathy, I’m not sure if I count them)

The worst: probably Grogar by the fact that he didn’t even show up, and that his g1 version was likewise extremely overhyped to kingdom come for reasons that are beyond me. Though if we don’t count him to begin with, I’d say either Sunset Shimmer or Nightmare Moon, which is odd, since I really like both characters after they turn good, but Sunset was really terrible as a villain, with her downright stupid plans, hardly any intimidation factor or interesting characterisation until Rainbow Rocks (where she wasn’t a villain anymore), and while Nightmare Moon could have been a great villain, the idea of her is certainly great, they really wasted all of that potential by having her be permanently defeated in the second episode of the show. Plus, despite having such an interesting backstory, Nightmare Moon’s personality is just a bunch of villain stock phrases and evil laughs.

My favorite was Grogar, he had potential. Even if the writers had the brillant idea of waste him, with a foolish justification, still I love his personality, design, and ideas out of the fact he’s Discord in the G4.

Probably the evilest is King Sombra; In the vision of the future where he wins, in the Season 5, he enslave the whole Crystal Empire, having total control of the crystal ponies, and even showing some saddism against his enemies. He made basically an apocalyptic dystopia, where the order and the chaos coexist with their worst qualities.

Finally, the worst is Sunset Shimmer. And here I’ll only talk about her villain facet, because she’s better after her redemption. Hollow convictions, zero charisma, stupid ideas to get the crown and crush Twilight in pathetic plans, which sounds more like ideas from a 6y/o kid more than one of the most brillant students of Celestia. Not to mention she had the most pedantic personality of the villains in EqG.

Grogar shouldn’t be here, since he was not an actual character. Not sure id midnight sparkle should be counted as a main villain, since the real villain of the movie was cinch.

Sombra is my favorite, followed by Nightmare moon and SG.
How do you measure evilness? I guess maybe sombra or chrysalis.
The craziest is cozy, maybe chrysalis would have edged her out if discord did not interfere.
The worst? perhaps sunset or POS if the EG specials don’t count.

Who cares? They’re supposed to be bad. They along with Midnight Sparkle and Principal Cinch remain bad in the spin-off series while the rest were reformed and know peace.

almost one of these villains reformed, and the dazzlings should do the same. we don’t want them to be bad.

I’m sorry, but that’s a load of blind shit. They were literally tools for Discord and didn’t even know he was disguising himself as Grogar until the very episode. The only masterminds in this series are the writers to their own vanity to think the fans would like the idea of a trick villain for the final season and then give us the same villains from the last two previous seasons in a rehash of the far better season 8.

Well, he could still be in the list. And he’s possibly the posthumous main antagonist of season 9 just before he’s replaced by Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek, and Cozy Glow because they’re truly the main antagonists of season 9 as well as the triple main antagonist of the entire series. And their must be an explanation why these three are behind all of this throughout the entire G4 series.

Cozy Glow is the worst, no contest.
A sociopathic little kid, who somehow managed to gain access into Tartarus, manipulated fully-grown and functional adults, and her plan is that once all the magic from the world is gone she’ll become queen…

This just screams subverting expectations.

Also, Grogar shouldn’t be on the list since he was never in the show to begin with.

Well, is it because she wants to steal all the magic of Equestria, overthrow all rulers of Equestria, ruled and conquer both worlds, banish a load of humans to Equestria and turn into ponies if the died or survived the fall as if they were injured, and wipe out the entire cost of ponies and humans?

Evilest: Midnight Sparkle (flat out wanted to get to Equestria by creating dimensional rifts without caring who gets hurt and nearly taking both worlds with it and came DANGEROUSLY close to winning)
