Well yes, it’s really curious, but that is the definition of “Anemoia”, in fact, the most curious cases happen among those born after 2000. What’s more, many of these cases “yearn” for the 80’s (too coincidence, I know)
Maybe they took a liking to all the fashion and music of those days (I guess comics and animations), and considering what they televise, film and music nowadays, it’s quite obvious that they consider everything to be total garbage (except MLP, of course) and take a look at simpler times (before the internet existed).
Search for “The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows”, I think there is even a video about it on Youtube.

I’m glad to know that, although the truth is with you that I know that word exists.
And what a curious definition, “feeling nostalgic for a time that was not lived”. The detail with me… is that I did live it, I must have been 9-10 years old when I saw the 1980 MLP pilot on TV. In fact, you can’t imagine the videos on VHS that I still have (for love, I doubt some work).
I had to download the songs I listened to in those days (it seems incredible that I got them). the truth, that decade (the 80’s) is great on too many levels, I wish I could live it again.
And yes, it’s pure Nostalgia…**

What a curious word, that nobody dares to say that the Fandom does not take care of educating itself.
And yes, what the hell, I confess that I’m Nostalgic, you’re reading this I wrote while listening to a hundred songs from the 80’s and 90’s… yes, I’m that inevitable, but the 80’s had their magic.
And thanks for taking the trouble to look up the term, I hope it hasn’t complicated your day too much.

Well, an “alternate story” with them two as romantic protagonists was inevitable (if it’s any consolation, there are such crazy fictions with other characters, such as Dash and Sonic).
And as for what you say about the 80’s, I remember those days, an insane magic in their creativity, an unleashed ease that I already wanted see again. There are not a few, in fact, who make designs, music and fashion so inspired by the 80’s that they seem to have been brought from those years. I could call that a “Revival”, even a “Resurrection” of the 80’s, but I’m improvising, its correct term will be out there somewhere.

Actually, I meant the nostalgia Mordecai brought. However, the only tine I do hate him is when I see him and Twilight together in the same picture (especially when they’re making out).
As for the eighties, I wasn’t even alive then. However, I did listen to a few 80’s rock hits and felt nostalgia for a time in which I didn’t exist. What’s that phenomenon called again?

Don’t worry, the Nostalgia part is more than understood, I fully share it.
For the memory of the unbeatable Michael Jackson, for “Thriller”, the first video I saw of him, for the G4 that I will never forget.
And for the 80’s, where everything was possible, that I wish we could stay forever in that decade.
