Pretty thoroughly useless. You swing a chainsaw at something and the chain’ll snag, and the spinning force will pull it away from whatever you hit.

Sure, it wouldn’t be fun to get hit by, but chainsaws only work right when you can hold down whatever you’re cutting.

I’ve always had problems with combat chainsaws.

I mean, yeah, they look and sound cool, but I’m not sure if they would be usable in real world situations.
