Sol Nightshade is a bisexual unicorn stallion born on the 5th of March 981. A Sergeant in the Lunar Army, he’s strong in body and spirit, and not afraid to get his hooves dirty to fight for the causes and ponies he cares for.
He’s also transgender and got dang beautiful.

Wouldn’t it made more sense if it was brains that were changed than bodies?
I mean, If body works properly, but your brain constantly tells you are of “wrong gender”, wouldn’t it be easier to change just brain?
I think it would be MUCH easier to change one organ than change whole body (without accidentally changing gender of the brain).

my personal headcanon is that transitions in equestria are fairly straightforward due to potions and magic. they are cheap, quick, and reversible procedures that take 1-2 months for an adult pony to completely transition with only minor resemblance to how they previously presented. this can be rapidly accelerated with the use of changeling magic and technology.
