Correct. The Archie Sonic comics were never canon but that doesn’t stop fans from (falsely) claiming they’re canon.
Wasn’t Archie Sonic made to be its own entity at the start? The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise is made be an IP with many different continuities compared to the entirety of MLP G4.
