Trivia: JG 52 is the most succesful fighter-wing of all time having destroyed more than 10000 enemy aircraft in the air and the top 3 scoring Fighter aces of all time served in this unit. Their names are Erich Hartmann with 352 kills (top ace of all time), Gerhard Barkhorn with 301 kills and Gunther Rall with 275 kills.
