April Fools’ Day comic or not, I’m really fucking tired of this ship.  
Well, I’m tired of shipping in general, to be honest.  
But this ship is by far the most overdone and annoying one.  
“OH THEY BOTH LIKE MUSIC THEY’RE MADE FOR EACH OTHER” no it’s fucking annoying.

While I do agree that this paring is unoriginal and over done; it should be noted that this particular comic is an April Fool’s Day comic exchange and thus shouldn’t be taken seriously.

I always see Octavia as a type who would crush on male musicians above her he sees as role models most of the time. Epic Wub Time and quite a few comics agree with me.
 
Vinyl, on the other hand, may be bisexual and have a crush on her friend even, but I can’t accept a version where Octy is the tsundere lesbo one.
 
So, as far as I’m concerned, the Vinyl in this comic is going to have a nasty surprise after going too far to assume she’s talking about her.
