“Hurry up, we’re going to be late!”
You let out an exasperated sigh as you let yourself be dragged by your girlfriend to the summer festival. They wouldn’t have to rush like this if she hadn’t taken too long back at the inn putting on the yukata she bought. It didn’t help that neither of them has any experience how to wear one so they had little to no choice but to rely on Ponytube for guidance.
Still, despite the hefty price tag and the arduous process of putting them on, the yukata does look good on her. Heck, it has the same color as her eyes though you weren’t quite sure yourself if that was intentional or not on her end when she bought it.
“Hey, are you even listening?” She asked, oblivious to your inner thinking. “If we don’t arrive there on time, we’re going to miss the fireworks!”
Typically, you’d retort with a snarky response but decide against it.
You’ll let her win this time.
