Why does everyone act like this is a new development? Remember all those “collapse of Equestria” pics? The facts that the producers pulled a Happy Ending Override and had the three Pony races hate each other was established as soon as the G5 movie was announced.
This is NOT a new development, so I don’t understand everyone losing their shit over this.

I STILL can’t believe one jerky pony ruined what looks like a utopia of friendship.
One pony didn’t. One pony took advantage of underlying divisions in society to further their own aims, but the divisions would already have been there under the surface.

You can’t ruin a utopia. A utopia is something so perfect that there is no way to destroy/ruin it. Equestria was never a utopia to begin with. It will never be one.
