Yes, they absolutely should! I’ve been thinking of a concept where Hasbro makes a MLP comic book series where each issue(s) focuses on somebody in each generation and rotates between the gens (starting with G1). There can be ones with story arcs, ones more on slice of life and others with ponies just chilling around. Even things that aren’t a separate generation like Tales and EQG can have their own entries too.

Same. I haven’t seen Hasbro acknowledge G2 yet, that gen keeps getting shafted. I understand why they’re probably embarrassed with it, but you can’t just pretend that nothing was going on in MLP from ’97 to 2003. Especially for the European folks who grew up with it.

The period between the Soviet collapse and the 9/11 attacks was a period of hope and positivity. (At least in the western world.) You can’t understand unless you lived those days.
Sure, there were still plenty of problems but it felt like we had the will and power to tackle them all. It fundamentally felt like we were headed in the right direction, and life was going to get better.
