Southern Belle is 14 years old in the drawing. She’s slightly small here but she gets her growth spurt soon afterwards.

A delicious waft was coming from the kitchen, but Southern Belle told her mothers to stay put and to not - no matter what - go to locate the smell of the delicious mystery food(that just so happens to smell exactly like pancakes). To the two moms lounging in the living room, it made them slightly nervous.

“Should we really be leaving her to do..whatever it is she’s doing in there?”
“She’s fine.” Applejack chuckled to herself “I’ve watched her hundreds of times, she knows what she’s doin’.”
“That’s because you’ve watched her hundreds of times–to stop her from burning down the house, I can’t help but think she’s making a absolute mess in there.”

Applejack pauses and then shakes her head,
“It’s fine. If she does make a mess, she’ll be the one cleaning it.”

Southern Belle beamed out of the kitchen, holding a wooden tray with two very large and fluffy pancakes and a glass of orange juice.
“Surprise Momma! It’s real simple when you look at it but when you chew on it – the inside of it is chocolate!”
Rarity looked in awe and giddily nudged herself closer. “Oh, Chocolate!? Really there’s chocolate in there?” She reaches her hoof over but Belle moves the wooden tray away from her. A small huff comes from the little filly.

Rarity looked in awe and giddily nudged herself closer. “Oh, Chocolate!? Really there’s chocolate in there?” She reaches her hoof over but Belle moves the wooden tray away from her. A small huff comes from the little filly.
“This one ain’t for you! It’s for Momma, Yours is in the kitchen!”
Rarity crumbles and whines pitifully “What’s with this preferential treatment! I didn’t raise you to be like this!” Applejack couldn’t help but roll her eyes as she pats Rarity’s head in consolation. “Now now” AJ says softly
Belle scoffed “Didya’ forget Mommy? Momma needs extra treatment these days, so she’s the one I made pancakes for first!”
Belle placed the tray right next to Applejack.
“She’s eatin’ for two-er… Three after all!”
