Twist is a reindeer who was adopted by Candy Mane and Rainbowshine and raised in Ponyville! She picked up her confectionary interest through Mama Candy and lived like any foal in Equestria, until kids in her class started getting their cutie marks. Unable to receive one, Twist ends up painting on on her flank day after day, leaving her parents with no idea how to discuss the subject with her. After all, it made her happy, and they didn’t want to do anything to make her feel ostracized from the other children.
