I would imagine the G5 version of the Equestria Girls to be like either I, Robot, The Fifth Element, several Video Games, the Jurassic World movies, Invader Zim or a less garbage infested version of Idiocracy in terms of technology than Star Trek, although it maybe be like Star Trek: Lower Decks but without being in Space and without aliens

A sci-fi futuristic EqG series would honestly be quite fun to see. Doesn’t necessarily mean Hasbro will do it, but I know I would watch it if it happened.
For the time being, however, it doesn’t seem like Hasbro has any desire to resurrect EqG. I think they want to focus more on mainline MLP instead.
